The Village Activities Team demonstrates an incomparable degree of energy, creativity and passion for the job. Each building has its own Activities Director, who meets with residents monthly to hear comments, ideas, and suggestions on the overall activities program. The Activities Director then uses this feedback to plan and develop the monthly Activities calendar. The result is a full and diverse program that is continually evolving. See below for a summary of our typical monthly program components.

Our 30-acre wooded campus lends itself well to our diverse program. Tried and true outdoor favorites include Sunset concerts, a summertime tradition here at The Village, the lake providing a spectacular backdrop to the renowned musicians who perform, seasonal boat rides on Waterman Lake, and our competitive bocce tournaments. Seasonal events like the New Year's Celebration, Valentine's Ball, St Patty's party, Spring Fling, Mardi Gras Festival, Southwestern BBQ, Autumnfest, and Holiday Gatherings are just some of the opportunities residents have throughout the year to get dolled up and kick up their heels. Annual art exhibits, live performances in all genres of entertainment, and regular theatre outings are just some of the ways residents remain culturally and artistically active.

Our Village Red Hatters and fellow residents board the Connecticut Valley steam train. Afterwards they enjoyed the well known river boat cruise.
