Highlights of the Month for May 2008

 

Chalet Trips

5-1-08 – Thursday: Nail Salon and Library

Our monthly trip to the nail salon for manicures. This trip now also includes a stop at The Greenville Library for those who would like to go.  The bus is at 9:30 AM.

 

5-4-08 – Sunday: Providence College is hosting a Wind Ensemble Concert.  Admission is FREE.

(Donations are being accepted for individuals recovering from mental illness and addictive disorders.) The bus is at 1:15 PM.

 

5-5-08 - Monday: Foxwoods Casino. Priced individually. The bus is at 9:30 AM.

 

5-7-08 – Wednesday: Lincoln Cinema for the latest movies out. We will choose a few days before we go.

 

5-12-08 – Monday: PPAC for a Wurlitzer Concert.

Free !!! The bus is at 11:15 AM.

 

5-14-08 – Wednesday: Health Fair at Mancini Senior Center

The bus is at 9 AM.

 

5-14-08 – Wednesday: Lunch at Luigi’s Restaurant.

Priced Individually. The bus is at 11:45 AM.

 

5-18-08 – Sunday: Assembly Theatre to see “Bedroom Farce”

Tickets are $10.  The bus is at 1:15 PM.

 

5-19-08 – Monday: Silver Screen Movie “The Royal Wedding”

Starring: Fred Astaire, The cost is $2.  A bag lunch will be provided for you. The bus is at 11:30 AM.

 

5-21-08 – Wednesday: Our much-anticipated trip to Walden Woods. We will be having lunch at The Colonial before we go to the Museum. Lunch is priced individually. The bus is at 10:30 AM.

 

5-28-08 – Wednesday: Wal- Mart and the Dollar Store.

The bus is at 1:30 PM.

A Seminar by Milestone Rehabilitation featuring an Open Forum and Screening. May 1st in the Lobby @ 3PM.

 

A Heart Healthy Seminar in the Lobby on May 8th @ 2:45 PM.

 

A Mother’s Day Tea @ 1 PM in the Tea Room.

 

 Iron Chef Competition: After much debate, YOU will decide which is the BEST Ambrosia. There will be 4 to choose from; mine, Mary Menard’s, Avery’s and Joyce S’s. This will be fun…….. May 14th @ 2:45 PM.

 

Beltone will be here to do a seminar on, “Getting the most out of your hearing-aids,” on May 20th @ 2 PM.

 

Our Theme Lunch on May 21st is “Mexican”…

 

In-house Jewelry Shows on May 9th and May 20th.
