2007 NAMED DEFICIENCY FREE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
May 2, 2007
Dear Valued Team Member,
It is with great pride and exhilaration that I congratulate you and the members of our Village Team for receiving a deficiency-free rating from the Rhode Island Department Health in its recent inspection of The Village at Waterman Lake. All areas of our operation were inspected in minute detail, and in each of those areas, we excelled. When you consider that we are the largest assisted living community in the state and that 76 percent of our 66 competitors here in Rhode Island did not reach this gold standard on this year’s survey, you can understand what a crowning achievement this is.
Since the day we opened our doors nearly seventeen years ago, we have committed ourselves to excellence here at The Village. And it is through the hard work and dedication of our team that we have been able to meet those lofty standards. The extra mile that you are willing to go for the benefit of our residents is recognized and appreciated by all of us here at The Village; residents, family, and your fellow teammates. An accomplishment like this just emphasizes what we already know: that cooperation, determination and absolute commitment to a job well done, have and will continue to set us apart from all others.
Thank you for helping The Village achieve this deficiency-free rating and for your continued passion and energy for what you do.
Sincerely,
Oliver Harvey
Chief Operating Officer
