her 2006 novel, The Knitting Circle. Other well-known titles

include her latest novel, The Red Thread published in 2010; Comfort: a Journey Through Grief (2008) chronicling the death of her five-year-old daughter in 2008; and Do Not Go Gentle: My Search of Miracles in a Cynical Time (2000).
