In 2014, the Senior Advisor Excellence Award was presented to The Village at Waterman Lake for receiving consistently high ratings from residents and their families. We are proud to have received the award again in 2015, 2016, and 2017. 

Oliver N. E. Harvey - Chief Operating Officer

Oliver Harvey oversees all aspects of operations and care at The Village at Waterman Lake. Oliver has played an integral role in the growth and development of The Village since its inception in 1990. He has held numerous positions within the organization, from Senior Vice President in the nineties during the company's intense growth to Chief Operating Officer prior to the sale of nine Village communities in 2004 through to today. Oliver is now perfectly at home at the helm of our flagship community, The Village at Waterman Lake, where his compassion, tireless energy, and attention to detail set the course for The Village's managerial team to follow.

Moriah DeAngelis - Chalet Administrator

Moriah DeAngelis, Administrator of The Chalet, is a familiar and beloved face for everyone at The Village at Waterman Lake. As Front Desk manager at The Courtyard for more than a decade, Moriah has been a resource for every person who passes through the doors. You may have enjoyed Moriah’s piano performances weekly and at Village events throughout the year. As a trained Health and Fitness Life Coach/Personal Trainer, she has creative perspective and global solutions to whatever may arise in her path.

Janet Bannon - Atrium Administrator

Janet Bannon comes to The Village at Waterman Lake with a career in human services and administration that spans 36 years. “I have never thought of going to work as a job. I have looked forward to going to see my residents and families every day,” says Janet. 

Beginning her career as a nursing assistant, Janet discovered early on that she wanted to work with seniors: she states, “Over the years, I have found that the elderly population has so much to give, to teach and to be appreciated for. Working with them has been my passion.”

Cindy Donahue, RN - Director of Nursing, Lodge

Cindy has been managing the Nursing Team here at The Village since 1999. Cindy works closely with residents and families developing and managing their personalized care plan. Cindy considers herself the residents' advocate and works tirelessly on their behalf to ensure they are enjoying the highest quality of life and receiving the most effective type of care.

Kerri Davis, RN - Director of Nursing, Courtyard

Kerri Davis leads our Courtyard nursing staff from a foundation of extensive experience in critical care nursing and administration. A compassionate, efficient and energetic professional, Kerri inspires confidence and a sense of well-being in the staff and residents of The Courtyard. She comes to us from a decade at Miriam Hospital’s Cardiac Care Unit, where she supervised and coordinated nursing activities and provided hands-on care for patients.

Heather Rickett manages a fantastic and hardworking nursing team on the Atrium Unit at The Village at Waterman Lake. Dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care to all residents, Heather works closely with the residents and their families, medical and other disciplines to advocate and ensure the best care possible. 

Heather began her career at  Oakland Grove as a Certified Nurse Assistant,  where she served for 17 years. Among the positions she held are Unit Manager,  Long Term Care Nurse and Infection Control Prevention and Wound Nurse.

Ralph Bisbano, Jr. - Executive Chef/Food Services Director

Ralph Bisbano, with 27 years of experience in food service management, leads and supports our dedicated and talented dietary team in The Lodge, The Chalet, and the Courtyard and Atrium building. As Executive Chef and Food Services Director, he utilizes his experience, team approach, and attention to detail to successfully lead and support our dedicated and talented dietary team in all three buildings. Prior to joining The Village in 2012, Ralph was a corporate manager at Met Life, and has held managerial positions on the dietary teams at both Silver Creek Manor and Memorial Hospital.

Karlene Hogan - Activities Director, Chalet

Karlene has been a valued member of the Village team for more than a decade. The Chalet residents depend on her to find the latest and greatest trip destinations, the best entertainers, most humorous plays, most ingenious projects and, of course, the region's best ice cream... Karlene is truly the leader of the pack and her sense of humor and robust spirit is often the source of much laughter during socials, pub parties, mystery rides, cooking programs, Arts & Crafts, Village trivia competitions, and bocce and billiard tournaments.

Diane Flynn - Activities Director, Lodge

As Lodge residents will attest, Diane does so much more than just facilitate the Activities program at the Lodge. In addition to creating and running a diverse and entertaining Activities program, Diane acts as advocate, friend and confidante to residents in her building. A member of the Village team for more than a decade, Diane’s door is always open and residents know they will find her eager and willing to help and encourage them in whatever way possible. Diane knows each and every resident’s tastes and personalities and gears her programs accordingly, making sure to offer a wide range of choices to appeal to the varying skill levels, both physical and mental, of her cherished residents.

Joan Stanzione, CDP - Courtyard Activities Director

Joan Stanzione brings an extensive career of creating entertainment and joy for seniors through activities, events, outings and exercise in residential centers throughout Rhode Island and beyond. She has served as Director of Activities for the Assisted Living and Memory Care residents at The Highlands on the East Side, and has held positions on the activities staff at Cherry Hill Manor, Life Care Center of Palm Bay (Florida), Cortland Place and Epoch Senior Living.

Melissa Nelson - Atrium Activities Director

Melissa Nelson has been a valued member of our Courtyard and Atrium team since 2016. She joined The Village as a CNA, became Supervisor of Nursing in Baldwin in 2018, and recently was promoted to Courtyard Assistant Activities Director. Melissa loves creating the activity programs and engaging with Courtyard and Atrium residents to bring smiles to their faces and a sense of achievement to their day.

The Housekeeping Team -

Our team of housekeepers ensure that our three buildings are always clean and fresh smelling. They provide weekly housekeeping and linen service with a smile, and are more than willing to go the extra mile to help residents.

The Maintenance Team -

As any Village resident will attest, our campus could not run without maintenance. They keep our driveways and walkways shoveled and plowed, and graciously clean off resident cars after every storm. The maintenance team can fix just about anything that needs fixing. We're not sure how they do it, but somehow maintenance always has the answers.

Christine M. Sullivan - Retirement Counselor

Christine is a valued member of the Village admissions team. Her genuine concern for the wellbeing of the seniors with whom she comes in contact, coupled with her remarkable warmth and kindness, make her the ideal counselor to someone considering a lifestyle change. Christine has been a compassionate and knowledgeable confidante to our many prospective residents and their families, calling on her social work background and extensive education to really connect with individuals' needs and suggest appropriate solutions based on their circumstances.

Beth Pearson Flynn - Retirement Counselor

For over two decades, Beth has pursued her career in senior living with energy, compassion, and attention to detail. Beth originally joined The Village when she was just a teenager, as a member of The Lodge waitstaff. She then moved into The Village’s corporate marketing department and helped to open and fill nine Village communities before their sale to BAL in 2004. Beth returns to us now, nearly 15 years later, having made her mark in the senior living industry as a compassionate and hardworking resident advocate and admissions director. We are thrilled to welcome her back to The Village family, where she has eased seamlessly into her position as a Retirement Counselor, supporting and assisting both residents and families along the move-in process.

Jennifer Beauchamp - Vice President of Marketing Communications

Jennifer (DeLuca) Beauchamp led the Sales and Marketing Team at Village Retirement Communities to unprecedented success before the company sold nine of its ten communities in CT, MA, and RI. Now, at The Village at Waterman Lake, Jen focuses her attention on managing the Marketing and Sales team, the Activities Department, the Front Desk Team, and most recently has assumed management of the Courtyard Housekeeping Team, while continuing to oversee the development of advertising and collateral materials, public relations, marketing and major events open to the public.

Jasen I. Crozier - Chief Financial Officer

Jasen oversees financial operations for Village Retirement Communities and its development company. He comes to VRC with a decade of accounting experience with firms focused on regional and international accounting and consulting.

Jessica Frisone - Senior Accountant

Jessica Frisone assumed the position of Village Senior Accountant in March of 2020, crowning her career with The Village at Waterman Lake that began in 1995 with her first job when she was still in high school. Recruited by her predecessor, Roberta Burley, Jessica advanced through the company as it grew from the groundbreaking in 1990 to the current day. Jess moved from housekeeping into administrative positions, helping to open The Village at Elmhurst, managing the front desk in The Courtyard, then rising through the accounting office as The Village opened 10 properties in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Jess advanced to Assistant Accountant when The Village sold nine properties in 2004, retaining The Village at Waterman Lake. She now assumes all accounting responsibilities for the Village, including financial relations with residents, families and employees.

Susan Bayley - BoneBuilders Master Trainer/Coordinator

The Village at Waterman Lake has offered the renowned BoneBuilders Program to our residents for many years under the inspiration of Village Partner Diane Caruso, who is a BoneBuilders Master Trainer. In 2013, we began developing BoneBuilders classes throughout the entire RI community, and founded BoneBuilders of RI (BBRI) with Susan coordinating the effort. Susan administers BBRI alongside John Dionne, our Director of Program Development, and leads BoneBuilder classes in Providence, Pawtucket and other communities throughout the state.

John M. Dionne - Director of Program Development

As Director of Program Development, John Dionne helps support the programs that The Village sponsors out in the community while helping us develop new community oriented programs both on and off the campus. Among his many responsibilities, John works alongside Susan Bayley to promote our innovative and well-attended BoneBuilders classes, of which we are exclusive and passionate sponsors. Our hope is to establish BoneBuilders classes throughout Rhode Island, and John is leading this initiative, while acting as liaison to other groups and organizations looking to partner on senior-minded initiatives.
